Study the sample essay below and answer the question that follows.
Motion: Education in Nigeria should be free at all levels.

I stand here to propose the motion: Education in Nigeria should be free at all levels. According to the Oxford advanced learner's dictionary, education is a process of teaching, training, and learning especially in schools and colleges to improve and develop skills.
From the above definition, we find that education is very important and as such every Nigerian child needs it. They need it because it will help them to acquire wisdom and skills that will enable them to be confident and financially stable in the future. this will go a long way in reducing corruption.
Moreover, education helps the masses generally to be properly informed. When a person is informed he will be able to differentiate between the dos and don'ts of a society. That way, he stays away from trouble so that the prisons and police cells are less crowded.
Presently many Nigerian youths who are able-bodied and intelligent roam the streets because they come from poor homes that cannot train them in school. They are jobless because they are not employable. They are not employable because they don't have basic education. If such people are educated they will not only be useful to themselves but to their communities and the government at large.
Ladies and gentlemen because our society will be wonderful if it is free from corrupt minded people and jobless youths who are desperate to get daily meals, it is very necessary that education is made free for all in Nigeria. Thank you.
